"ITSM Ticket Helper" This Chrome extension helps support engineers to fill in ITSM tickets easily. The user can copy a ticket from Jira support system and past the information in ITSM Next format. To make it more reliable the user inputs will override the extracted data fro the Jira ticket.

The extension requires access to your clipboard to read XML content that you manually copy and paste into the extension popup.

• Clipboard content is accessed only when you click the "Format" button.
• The data is processed locally in your browser and never sent anywhere.
• We do not retain or analyze clipboard contents beyond the immediate formatting session.

🔐 Data Storage and Transmission

• The extension does not send data over the internet.
• No content is logged or saved between sessions.
• There is no remote backend, and the extension does not communicate with any external APIs in this version. In future version it will possibly communicate with a private instance of ChatGPT Assistant.

✅ Permissions

The extension requests the following permission:

• clipboardRead – used only to allow users to paste copied XML content for local formatting. This is user-initiated and does not occur in the background.

• scripting - used to add awareness of the page content changes in order to perform the extension's functionality only.

No other permissions are requested. The extension does not access, modify, or interact with websites or tabs.
